Day 3: Kakheti | Sighnaghi | Manavi

Embark on an unforgettable journey through Kakheti, Georgia’s principal wine country boasting 8,000 years of grape cultivation and wine-making history. Begin at the 9th-century Bodbe Monastery, said to be built on the burial place of St. Nino, who spread Christianity in Georgia in the 4th century.

Next, explore the royal town of Sighnaghi, built in 1762 by King Heraclius II to protect the area from marauding attacks by Dagestani tribesmen. Enjoy a traditional Georgian cooking class and lunch accompanied by local wines. End your day at the Giuaani Winery in Manavi village and sample some of the finest Georgian wines in a stunning setting, after which you will return to Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi (At Leisure)

Today, you will have a free day to explore the vibrant city of Tbilisi. Consider starting your day by visiting the majestic Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, a stunning blend of Georgian and modern architecture that stands 101 meters tall.

After, dive deeper into Georgian history at the Georgian National Museum, home to a priceless collection of ancient artifacts. Finally, marvel at the Bridge of Peace, a modern architectural masterpiece that spans the Mtkvari River.
