Go cross-country skiing in the enchanting winter wonderland of Dobbiaco. Located in northeast Italy, Dobbiaco is home to the Dolomites, a mountain range with 9 dedicated ski areas and more than 1,000km of tracks. Each day here will be unique, with your tour leader choosing different routes based on weather and snow conditions. There are also areas for beginner and advanced skiers, with perfectly groomed tracks offering safety and comfort.
Skiing in Dobbiaco is accessible to beginner and advanced skiers. The Dolomites has an intricate network of trails, all of which are perfectly groomed for safety and comfort. Some of the tracks are even lit up at night.
Dobbiaco is home to many family-run hotels, of which you will stay in one for the duration of your trip. Your stay will include daily breakfast and dinner (excluding dinner on Day 5), along with comfortable accommodation and modern amenities.
During winter, Dobbiaco bursts to life. Fresh white powdered snow blankets the entire mountain range, and the misty fog sprinkles the scenery in the early morning sun. Wherever you look, Dobbiaco and the Dolomites are a treat for the eyes.

Fly to Innsbruck and transfer to Dobbiaco, located in the Dolomites.
Over the next 3 days, go on various cross-country ski trips on different routes. Your tour leader will determine where to go each day based on the weather and snow conditions.
Most trips start from Dobbiaco but others require the use of a local transport system. Some of the tougher routes take you south to Cortina d’Ampezzo. There are also plenty of opportunities to take photographs and enjoy coffee breaks.

Visit the Prags and Sexten valleys, which provide incredible views of the Dolomites. The Plaetzwiese Plateau is also a memorable route where you will reach 6,560ft in
height.
As the week progresses, your skiing skills may improve, giving you the chance to progress from beginner to advanced trails if you feel ready. And more advanced skiers will have plenty of routes to choose from in order to test their skills.
