Made up of many mountain groups, which rise up from valleys that contain small villages and roads that link together, the Dolomites is a unique geological structure. It provides incredible views of the surrounding area, including rolling green hills and long stretches of forests.
There are many parts of the Dolomites that are only accessible with snowshoes. To help you get there, you’ll go on 3 guided walks, taking you to the Fanes-Sennes Natural Park, Lago di Braies, and under the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Dolomites Snowshoeing Adventure
On this 8-day sample itinerary you will experience the best of the Dolomites region. Trek through various walking trails in durable snowshoes. Marvel at the unique geomorphology of the mountain which includes rock walls, steeples, and pinnacles. And unwind after a long day of exploration at a 4-star hotel with a wellness retreat.

Receive your snowshoes and spend some time becoming familiar with them. Then, spend the next 3 days walking on many trails.
The trails will take you to Fanes-Sennes National Park, which has gorgeous meadows and mountain pastures; Lago di Braies, an aquamarine lake with a stunning mountain backdrop; and beneath the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, a popular hiking trail that takes you around 3 gigantic rock pillars.

Take it easy today. Spend some time relaxing at the hotel or go cross-country or downhill skiing.

Explore more walking trails for the next 2 days. You will trek through old military tracks and forest trails, reaching stunning vantage points at Durrakopf and Strudelkopf.
Enjoy lunch at a gorgeous refuge. Then learn about the effects of World War 1 on the Dolomites, where many fights took place. You may also be able to visit the local war memorial museum.
On Day 6, the hotel restaurant will treat you and your fellow travelers to a Tyrolean dinner. This alpine cuisine takes influence from Italian cuisine, with a unique combination of sophisticated deserts, fresh salads, and hearty pasta dishes.
