During spring and summer, Lake Kvitavatn is popular for water activities like fishing and kayaking. But things change in winter. Snow encapsulates the landscape, transforming the nearby mountains into a cross-country skier’s paradise. And that’s where your journey begins. Here you can expect daily ski trips, comfortable accommodation at a modern mountain lodge, and incredible views of Norwegian landscapes.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced skier, you’ll learn the ropes. How? With the help of an expert cross-country ski instructor. They’ll show you how to equip your skis, maintain speed, take corners, and more. By the end of the week, even the most inexperienced skiers adapt quickly.
Kvitavatn features a range of on- and off-track ski trails. When planning the itinerary, your instructors will account for weather, snow conditions, and the group’s ability. This means there’s no set schedule for the week. Either way, though, there’s plenty of time to explore.
Stay at a spacious, comfortable, and modern mountain lodge. It features daily meals, shared facilities, and incredible views of the area. You’ll enjoy the mix of an authentic wilderness experience and the modern conveniences of a fully equipped lodge.
