Sample Itinerary

day 1: Arrival In Calgary

Upon your arrival in Calgary, collect your car hire and head to your hotel, the trendy Kensington Riverside Inn.

day 2: Explore Banff

Head into Banff, via the popular Trans-Canada Highway or on Highway 1A which offers great views of the landscape. Banff is the highest town in Canada and is located inside the Banff National Park, surrounded by stunning lakes and impressive mountains.

day 3: Banff & Lake Louise

Start your day with a trek around Lake Louise, take a ride in a Banff Gondola, or visit the hot springs in Canada. Lake Louise is truly magnificent with its glistening turquoise waters and towering peaks that engulf the lake. Start your trek via the lakeshore trail, admiring the waterfall and the bold rock climbers that are around. If you happen to visit during the winter months, you will be amazed by the Lake’s stunning beauty as a magically frozen wonderland.

day 4: Moraine Lake

days 5 & 6: Jasper

The town of Jasper is the biggest of all the Canadian Rockies National Parks and is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During your exploring you will experience amazing wildlife such as grizzly and black bears, wolverines and elk. The area is fantastic for biking, climbing, camping, fishing and trekking in the warmer months, and ideal for skiing and dogsledding in the colder months.

day 7: Kamloops

Prepare for an amazing day of discovery in Kamloops, British Columbia. You arrive there following your trip on the Rocky Mountaineer train to experience this impressive city. A sunny destination, you can look forward to plenty of time outdoors exploring its rolling hills, 82 parks, sporting activities and two adjoining rivers. An adventurer’s paradise, there are also exceptional golf courses and plenty of opportunities to hike or bike through its landscape, or practice your skiing skills in the winter.

day 8: Vancouver

Depart Kamloops, boarding the Rocky Mountaineer that will take you through a scenic tour of Canada’s countryside to arrive in the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver.

day 9: Vancouver

Explore this amazing city with the help of a local guide, heading to Chinatown, Gastown, and Stanley Park, among other great attractions. This trendy city offers a multitude of activities in addition to an outstanding network of provincial parks and gardens.

day 10: Vancouver

Let Vancouver unravel itself to you. A day at leisure means you can explore this wondrous location at your own pace. Go on a culinary adventure, for example at Richmond Night Market during the evenings of May to October and sample amazing delights, or enjoy the live entertainment of the city. If you want to get active, head to Grouse Mountain for hiking and ziplining, or explore the vivid VanDusen Botanical Garden for exceptional nature photo opportunities and to see the 7,500 plant species.

day 11: Depart Vancouver

Enjoy your final morning in this gorgeous city before heading to Vancouver Airport for your return flight.
