Day 1: Arrival In Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Your Brazilian adventure begins by flying to Rio De Janeiro, the carnival capital of the world!

Day 2: Rio De Janeiro

One of the most recognisable cities in the world, Rio is renowned for its urban vibe, gorgeous scenery, and stunning beaches.

With beautiful, verdant mountains on one side and pristine oceans on the other, Rio de Janeiro boasts a special setting. It is one of the most financially and culturally significant towns in Brazil and is home to some of the most famous landmarks in the world, including the Christ the Redeemer monument at Corcovado, and the famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. You could also explore its Botanical Gardens or discover Rio’s delights on a walking tour.

Day 3: Rio De Janeiro

Discover what it’s like to live in Rio de Janeiro by cycling around the South Zone. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail by ascending Sugarloaf Mountain in a glass-walled cable car. The views of Ipanema and Copacabana beach are jaw droppingly stunning and unforgettable.

Day 4: Iguaçu Falls

Fly to Foz do Iguaçu, and stand in awe of the impressive UNESCO-listed Iguaçu Falls from a glass viewing platform. Iguaçu Falls is a series of hundreds of waterfalls divided between Argentina and Brazil. The waterfalls are surrounded by stunning flora and fauna and can be explored on foot through the walkways or through a boat safari.

Day 5: Iguaçu Falls, Argentina

Cross over to Argentina to experience the Falls from another viewpoint; from a platform overlooking The Devil’s Throat. Then, watch the Three Borders from a helicopter or spot colourful birds in the Parque das Aves.

Day 6: Brasília, Brazil

Travel to Brasilia for a half-day city tour. Appreciate the distinctive architecture of places like Three Powers Square and the Cathedral of Brasilia. You could also visit the National Congress with its two identical towering skyscrapers, as well as the Presidential Palace known as Palacio do Planalto with its curved architecture and modern feel. If you are looking to explore some culture and history head to the Museum of Indigenous People with its artifacts and timeless pieces depicting its people and the Amazonian tribes.

Day 7: Salvador

Travel to Salvador. The Miguel Santana Theatre is hosting a show featuring sacred candomblé dances, which you can enjoy following your arrival.

Day 8: Salvador

Go on a walking tour and take in the ambience of Salvador’s winding, charming streets. Take part in a tasting session and then enjoy some cachaça as well. As one of the former capitals of Brazil it has much to offer during your stay.

Day 9: Salvador

Shop in the historic Sao Joaquim market and then have the distinctive Bahai dish moqueca. Visit the Mercado Modelo for access to the historic part of the city where you can purchase handicrafts and sample more Bahian cuisine. Head to the Farol da Barra where you can either enjoy exploring its Nautical Museum or take pictures of this stunning site at sunset. If you fancy relaxing, then why not unwind at ones of its beautiful beaches, for example Porto da Barra beach, great for surfing and diving, or taking in the sights with a refreshment. Culturally significant too, Salvador also offers 372 Catholic churches should you wish to experience the faith of its people.

Day 10: Depart Salvador

Return to Rio De Janeiro for your return flight home.
