Highlights

Marvel at the Abundant Wildlife

From Blue-Crowned Motmots to Eyelash Palm Pitvipers, West Indian Manatees to Spider Monkeys, Costa Rica has a varied mix of land, bird, and marine wildlife.

Explore the Waterways and Beaches of Tortuguero

Located on the northeast Caribbean coast, Tortuguero National Park is one of the largest tropical rainforests in Costa Rica. The park has a range of waterways and beaches, which are best viewed by boat on the Tortuguero canals. The highlight of the trip are the nesting turtles, who nest between June and October. They are best viewed during a scheduled night tour.

Meet the Friendly Team at Sloth Sanctuary

Established in 1992, the Sloth Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing sloths back into the wild. You will get a chance to meet the people who make the Sanctuary a success. And you will learn about their preservation efforts. Of course, sloth sightings are part of the experience.
